CTM is a Christian organization whose foundation is built upon the mission of Christ in Luke 4: 18-19, and thus the organization exists to proclaim and demonstrate the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through action, reflection, and discernment.

In her efforts to walk with the marginalized communities CTM Kenya recognizes that the most powerful and renewable resource in high-risk communities resides within the communities themselves. This includes relationships between and among individual community members as well as relationships and institutions that sustain the life of the community. Thus the critical need is to recognize, network, and train indigenous leaders to activate these resources in a way that is beneficial and sustainable.

“Raising a new generation of leaders who are excellent: educationally, technically, vocationally, and morally”

Impact Accelerator Academy

The Innovation Impact Accelerator is designed to propel innovative ideas and solutions that address pressing societal challenges. It’s build in the principles of entrepreneurship and social impact, this accelerator helps in the development and scaling of initiatives with the potential to create meaningful change in communities and around the world.

How we do it:

Selected innovators from informal settlements around Nairobi participate in an intensive incubation period, receiving mentorship, training, and access to resources to refine their ideas and develop viable business models.

  1. Funding support is provided to help select innovators build and test prototypes of their solutions, enabling them to gather feedback, iterate, and improve.
  2. Successful projects progress to the acceleration phase, where they receive further investment, mentorship, and technical assistance to scale their impact and reach larger audiences.
  3. Participants gain access to a wide network of partners, investors, experts, and potential collaborators who can provide valuable support, advice, and connections.
  4. Opportunities are provided for innovators to showcase their projects and attract additional funding, partnerships, and support from a broader audience.
  5. An alumni ensures sustained growth and impact, including access to ongoing mentorship, funding opportunities, and networking events.
